🌙 Late Night at the Museum Presents: Movie Night 🎬

Thank you for your interest in submitting your film for Late Night at the Museum Presents: Movie Night! Experience the magic of cinema inside the historic Ritz Museum, where independent films come to life in a unique and immersive setting.

1. Eligibility

✅ Films of all genres and styles are welcome, including short films, feature-length films, documentaries, and experimental works.
✅ The film must be independently produced and cannot be under exclusive distribution.
✅ Filmmakers of all experience levels are encouraged to submit.

2. Submission Format

🎥 Digital Submissions Only – We accept films as MP4 files or YouTube links.
🎥 Resolution: Minimum 1080p HD (higher resolutions preferred).
🎥 Subtitles: If the film is not in English, English subtitles are required.

3. Content Guidelines

🚫 No extreme violence, hate speech, or explicit adult content.
🚫 No copyrighted material (music, footage, images) unless you own the rights or have proper licensing.
✅ Films should align with our mission to celebrate creativity, culture, and diverse storytelling.

4. Length Requirements

🎞 Short Films – Under 40 minutes ( We may show more than one depending on the length) 
🎞 Feature Films – 40+ minutes
🎞 Documentaries – Any length

5. How to Submit

📩 Email your submission to ritzwriters@gmail.com with:

  • Film title
  • Director’s name
  • Genre & runtime
  • A short synopsis (50-100 words)
  • A downloadable Google Drive, WeTransfer or YouTube link to the film 
  • Any promotional materials (poster, trailer, etc.)

6. Deadlines & Screening Schedule

📅 Rolling submissions accepted throughout the year.
📅 Selected films will be screened inside the Ritz Museum on Thursday nights.
📅 Short Film Thursdays showcase selected short films every third Thursday of the month leading up to The Ritz Short Film Festival 2025.

7. Selection Process

✅ All submissions will be reviewed by our programming team.
✅ Filmmakers will be notified via email if their film is selected.
✅ Selected films may be part of a Q&A session or panel discussion (optional).
